FASHION MOVIES WEEK is an exclusive project, an unique event in Russia when films about fashion industry which have never been released in Russia are screened in cinema.The first FASHION MOVIE WEEK was held in May 2010 – within the framework of the first season of AURORA FASHION WEEK Russia. The project got excellent reviews by critics who called it a successful event.

The strategic partner of FASHION MOVIE WEEK is KARO-film company  — the largest national company engaged in the developments of cinema circuit. Its structure includes the main premier cinemas of Russia ("Pushkin" and "October"cinemas are venues of the Moscow International film festival).

The first FASHION MOVIE WEEK was successfully held in May 2010. The main venue of the event was Kolizey cinema at Nevsky Prospekt, 100. More that 2000 people, including accredited journalists, visited the event.

In April 2011 there was the second FASHION MOVIE WEEK. All free invitation cinema tickets were booked within three days after launch of booking system on the site movie.aurorafashionweek.ru. More than 3000 guests have watched 8 best fashion-films about great designers of the present: Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Yves saint Laurent and others which weren't screened in Russia before.
