Motonari Ono graduated from Mejiro Design School and College of Fashion Foundation (LCF). In 2003 he entered Royal College of Fine Arts in Antwerp, but after a while has dropped his studies to work in Bora Aksu. In 2007 he established his own brand Motonari Ono. Creating naive and coquettish looks as well as theatrically-dramatic outfits, the designer reflects his special vision of modern Japanese girl. Today Motonari is one of 10 finalists of El Boton Mango Fashion Awards. Besides being a designer, Motonari is a professional illustrator.
